After a year of design work, and several more months of community meetings the Rec & Park approved the conceptual design and voted to move forward with the renovation project.
Many Thanks to Meghan Ternan who is the Rec & Park project manager and has been our key proponent helping us move through this process.
Another big thanks to Meredith Thomas from NPC (neighborhood parks council) who managed to get us a meeting with the General Manger to discuss keeping sand in the Lincoln Park Plan.
Meredith also questioned the commission on their surprising and unannounced decision to remove sand from all future city park renovations without a public discussion on the matter. More to come on that...

$1.5MM budget approved by the Commission today.

After several meetings and a good deal of community feedback these play structures were chosen as the basic pieces for the Lincoln Park Playground.
Depending on the budget and construction bids these are subject to change but have been selected for their style and function.
Change of Ownership?!
